Erdogan agreed with Putin’s words about the problems with Ukrainian grain

Photo: Natalia Gubernatorova

Turkish President Recep Erdogan agrees with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement that Ukrainian grain does not go to the most needy countries. In particular, it is not supplied to African countries, as it was supposed to be.

“Mr. Putin is right that the grain corridor supplies are not carried out to poor countries, but mainly to developed countries,” the Turkish leader said. According to him, it turns out that grain is sent to those states that have imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation.

As a result, he indicated that he and Putin would discuss this topic in Samarkand. In addition, Erdogan believes that Moscow itself should start sending grain.

Earlier, during a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF), Putin spoke about the supply of Ukrainian grain to the European Union. According to him, it does not go to starving countries. According to Putin, it may be worth limiting the export of grain from Ukraine. He decided to consult with his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan about this.

Photo: ru.wikipedia.org

The new Secretary General of NATO may be an ethnic Ukrainian, the current Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Canada, Christy Freeland. This is reported by the Canadian TV channel CBC.

“There are several highly qualified women who could be very good candidates. It seems that there is some momentum for a woman to become the next secretary General,” the TV channel reports the words of an unnamed senior NATO official.

The channel notes that at least four sources from Belgium, the United States and Canada stated that Freeland’s candidacy is being discussed as a successor to Jens Stoltenberg. Among its advantages are knowledge of the Russian language and “the peculiarities of the Kremlin’s work.”

In order to “push” a Canadian politician to this position, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will have to actively spend his political capital, the channel notes. “Lobbying and arm-twisting” will be done in Washington, London, Paris and Berlin.

Recall that the current Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was supposed to resign on October 1, 2022, but his powers were decided to be extended until September 30, 2023.

Freeland is 54 years old. Her father had English and Scottish roots, her mother was born in Germany in a Ukrainian family.

Photo: pixabay.com

Italian sociologist Alessandro Orsini, in an interview with Rai 3 TV channel, said that a catastrophic situation has developed in Ukraine for the Kiev regime.

According to him, at the moment the country is plunging more and more into ruin and there are more and more deaths.

“The situation in Ukraine is simply catastrophic. So far, only Russia has achieved the most important military victory,” Orsini said.

He clarified that the allied forces took control of the entire territory of the LPR in June. Now, for the complete liberation of Donbass, Russia, together with the DPR and the LPR, needs to overcome one last line of defense of the Ukrainian troops, which is located in the area of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.

Orsini added that Russia’s victory in this area will be very “expected”, and it will be a tragedy for the Kiev regime, since in case of victory, the allied forces will be able to control the entire territory from Donbass to Crimea.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the AFU suffered heavy losses in the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction.
