US President Joe Biden said he finds “great comfort” in his contacts with Pope Francis. He said this at a press conference in Rome following the conclusion of the G20 summit.
“He is a really, without pretense, a good person,” Biden said, speaking about the pontiff.
According to him, Pope Francis seeks to ensure peace, decency and honor in general on Earth.
The head of the White House pointed out that the pontiff embodies everything he knew about Catholicism as a child. At the same time, he indicated that he has great respect for people who hold other religious views.
