Russia will face “serious economic costs” if, following the results of the referendums, it will include the territories of the DPR and LPR, as well as areas of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine that are not controlled by Kiev, Karin Jean-Pierre said at the White House.

Speaking at a briefing, Jean-Pierre noted that the United States, together with its allies and partners, is ready for appropriate steps “without delay.”

According to her, Washington will never perceive the above-mentioned regions as anything other than the territory of Ukraine, and the results of referendums, which, according to her, will be “fabricated by Russia”, will be rejected.

She recalled Biden’s words that the United States considers the planned referendums to be a “blatant violation of international law”, as well as a violation of the principles of the UN Charter concerning sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Jean-Pierre also promised that the United States would continue to support Ukraine, as well as allocate “historic” amounts of aid to Kiev.

Rapid and heavy economic sanctions will be imposed against Russia after referendums on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation. This is stated in a statement by US President Joe Biden.

Also, the owner of the White House repeated that Washington does not intend to recognize the results of referendums and will continue to support Kiev. “The United States will never recognize Ukrainian territory as anything other than a part of Ukraine,” the statement reads.

The referendum on joining the Russian Federation began on Friday. The voting will last until September 27. Representatives of the public have asked the regional authorities to hold referendums. In their opinion, joining Russia will restore historical justice and secure the territories.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, appealed to those who shy away from partial mobilization in Russia. He wrote about this in the Telegram channel.

“You can come up with different excuses,” Kadyrov wrote. According to him, a person can say that he does not support the current policy, or “invent a fairy tale” that the “idea of war and the concept of weapons” is alien to him in principle. Also, the evader could say that he does not accept violence.

“But know that you are just a coward, a traitor and a second-class person,” the Chechen leader stressed.

He added that when these people need the state, they are citizens demanding respect for their rights, and usually pointing a finger at the second chapter of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

“When you want to expand your comfort zone, you are a patriot to the core,” the head of Chechnya pointed out.

“But when the state needs your support and they hand you a summons, who are you?” Kadyrov asked. According to him, this person is “not grateful to the state and a defender loyal to the people.” This man, as Kadyrov pointed out, abandons “relatives, friends, acquaintances, house, city…”

“And no excuses will wash away this shame of yours, a deviant,” Kadyrov wrote.

Earlier, Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Veterans Affairs, commented on the decision of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov not to mobilize residents of the republic due to over-fulfillment of the plan. She added that it is necessary to extend this practice to other regions. If a large number of residents of any region are already in the area of their own in volunteer battalions formed before partial mobilization, then the issue of sending new soldiers should be approached differentially.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was shocked by Israel’s actual refusal to help Kiev with weapons and military equipment. The head of the Ukrainian state stated this in an interview with a number of French media.

According to Zelensky, he had previously asked the Israeli leadership to transfer air defense systems to Ukraine. But Israel did not supply them. The President of Ukraine noted that the situation in Israel is difficult and he understands this, but he is still shocked.

“I don’t understand what has become of Israel,” Zelensky said. He noted that the Israeli state has not supplied Ukraine with anything. “Zero,” the President of Ukraine stressed, describing the lack of military assistance from Israel.

Meanwhile, given the peculiarities of the ideology of the Ukrainian regime and the presence of outright Nazis in the ranks of its defenders and supporters, it is not surprising that Israel is in no hurry to provide military assistance to it.
