The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, published a video message on his Telegram channel, in which he promised to get to the former emissary of separatists in Chechnya, Ahmed Zakayev.
He wrote down his appeal in Chechen, but later posted a post with an appeal to those who do not understand Chechen. The head of the republic said that Zakayev is currently in the zone of his own in Ukraine, where, according to Kadyrov, he defames the honor of the Chechen people, Chechen men.
“He offers to flee, to leave his homeland… I’ll get to him even if the whole world turns upside down”, – Kadyrov wrote.
He also recalled that the Chechen Republic is an integral part of Russia: “All fugitive criminals should accept this fact.”
