Lukashenko: Minsk will not appeal to the CSTO in case of invasion

According to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Minsk will not apply for military assistance to the CSTO if someone invades the country. At the same time, Lukashenko noted that he would not refuse to help.

“Of course, we will never be against [CSTO assistance] if someone invades our country. But, you know, I think we won’t have to involve the CSTO even in this case. You can’t even imagine how we can respond,” ONT TV channel quotes the president as saying.

Earlier, Lukashenka had already warned that if there was an invasion of his country, the answer would be “that not only Europe would tremble”.
