German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, in an interview with Bild given on the occasion of his visit to Kiev, stated the need for Ukraine’s partners to continue providing military assistance. Among other things, he was asked to assess the likelihood of negotiations.

“The main question is how do we get to the moment when negotiations will become possible, when both sides will be ready to sit down at the negotiating table&”,” Pistorius said.

Pistorius found it difficult to answer the question of whether Ukraine would be able to “regain Donbass and Crimea”.

“This is a difficult question, a look into a crystal ball,” the minister said, noting the bravery of the Ukrainian military. – It is extremely important that we continue to support Ukraine.
