Russia has called on the UN Security Council to condemn the attack carried out by a Ukrainian sabotage group on the LPR militia post on June 11. This is reported on the website of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN.

It is specified that Russia on Thursday initiated a discussion in the UN Security Council of this incident.

“We call on the members of the Security Council to condemn this brutal and senseless attack by the Ukrainian military on the Luhansk militia post. This incident was a direct violation of the Minsk agreements, as well as the ban on intelligence and sabotage actions of the parties,” the appeal says.

The People’s Militia of the LPR said on June 11 that five of its employees were killed in an attack by a sabotage group of Ukrainian security forces. The head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik added that the saboteurs were specially trained professionals, and the “operation” itself was approved and planned by the country’s leadership on the eve of the meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States.
