Saakashvili got “black tights”: who will win the elections in Georgia

The starving ex-president made a bet on the supporters of Gamsakhurdia

On Saturday, Georgia is holding the second round of municipal elections, including the mayoral elections of the five largest cities. It is important in whose hands the capital will be. Will the General Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party Kakha Kaladze remain mayor of Tbilisi, or will he be replaced by the head of the United National Movement (UNM) Nika Melia? The founder of the UNM, Mikhail Saakashvili, from the Rustavi prison, called on his supporters to fully mobilize and said that his life depends on the outcome of the elections. Literally.

As you know, Saakashvili, who illegally entered Georgia and was arrested, went on a hunger strike in prison. However, some strange. It turned out that until October 29, he was taking some kind of “treatment to ease the hunger strike,” passed tests and cooperated with a medical council appointed by the government. And on the eve of the election from all thisrefused. So now his hunger strike continues in full. “I want you to know that the continuation of my life depends entirely on your decision tomorrow and Georgia’s victory.” – the ex-president addressed his supporters. He also called on them to gather at polling stations in the evening after the election to “protect their votes.”

Is Saakashvili seriously putting his life on the line, or is this another election trick? His girlfriend Lisa Yasko writes in social networks about the critical state of his health. Of course, Saakashvili does not want to die in any case. He is not one of those who sacrifice his life for the sake of an idea. Moreover, for the sake of the second round of local elections, which will not fundamentally change anything. The elections, as the first round showed, Saakashvili’s party lost. Most likely, the election of the mayor of Tbilisi will also blow. Both the country and the capital will remain in the hands of the “Dream”. Saakashvili is not a hero, he is a psychopath suffering from narcissistic personality disorder. So it may well play too much – and finish playing.

Representatives of the Georgian authorities do not believe in Saakashvili’s hunger strike and call it a “show”, suggesting that it will end on October 30, after the elections. However, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that according to the law, Saakashvili, like any other person, has the right to commit suicide. “If a person decides to commit suicide, he has the right to do so, but the state, of course, will not be able to take responsibility for it.” – said the prime minister.

Suddenly, Saakashvili’s support came from a completely unexpected side. Alla Dudayeva, the widow of another ex-president, Chechen, more precisely, Ichkerian, Dzhokhar Dudayev, addressed the Georgian people with a message in which she writes about the “Georgia-loving heart” of Mikhail Saakashvili, which “may not stand and stop at any moment.” In her opinion, “the pro-Russian government of Bidzina Ivanishvili” (???) deceived the Georgian people hundreds of times. In particular, by such deception, according to heraccording to the opinion, there was a “video with “brooms” and “provocation in the Lopota gorge”. Of course, Alla Fyodorovna, an artist and poetess, soars high above reality and, perhaps, piously believes that there was some kind of “provocation” in the Lopota Gorge, and they did not rape in prisons under Saakashvili. But the events in Lopot have been investigated for a long time, everyone knows well what happened there, including the Chechens in Pankisi. They know well who killed their young tribesmen, and what role Saakashvili’s closest associates played in this story.

I just want to exclaim: “Holy simplicity!” – and she also believes that everyone who votes for the “Dream” has sold out for money. But do not treat this letter as the ravings of an elderly lady who has lost her mind. It is clearly focused on a specific target audience. These are, firstly, Chechens – both Kistins in the Pankisi Gorge, and those who fled to Georgia during the war and became its citizens. And secondly, they are Zviadists (supporters of the first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia. They still remain, although they have aged considerably. For the most part, these are Megrels who live in the western regions of Georgia. For them, the widow of Dudayev means a lot, who at one time gave shelter to Gamsakhurdia after his overthrow and flight from Georgia. The Megrelians are a very significant and very active part of the Georgian people. By the way, the rose revolution in 2003 won thanks to them. Saakashvili then agreed with some leaders of the Zviadists, and people were brought from Megrelia to Tbilisi in buses – for a decisive rally, which ended with the seizure of parliament.

A Georgian analyst recently very aptly said that the most terrible and destructive role in the history of Georgia was played by women 40-50 years old. They were the main “fan club”, first Gamsakhurdia, then Saakashvili. Exalted, with problems in their personal lives (either there is no husband, or a cold, indifferent, or even a drinking husband, ungrateful children), they splashed out on their adored idols streams of their unspent libido. It was they who chanted: “Zviadi! Zviadi!” and then “Misha! Misha!” Squadrons of fanatical ladies, in the early 90s everywherefollowing Zviad, for some reason they were called “black tights”. Saakashvili seems to have got his own “women’s battalion”. Like Zviad’s fans, they do not see his true face at close range. Saakashvili, like a true narcissist, creates an illusory world around himself in which he is a real fighter for democracy, in August 2008 Russia attacked Georgia, the events in the Lopotsky Gorge are a provocation of Moscow, Ivanishvili is an FSB agent and pays 50 lari for people to go to rallies. You can live in this altered reality for years – but the awakening will be terrible.
