Attempts of external interference in the elections to the State Duma will be made, but they will not go unnoticed by the public, said the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional legislation Andrey Klishas.
“There will certainly be attempts to interfere, but the law is written in such a way that any interference in the electoral process from abroad will be obvious to the public. No one will be able to secretly influence the elections, ” he said.
The senator also called the electoral legislation in Russia one of the best, emphasizing that it takes into account all modern world practices
“It ensures the representative nature of the government and the confidence of citizens in both the procedure and the results of the elections, ” Klishas explained.
