NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukraine is waiting for a “terrifying winter.”
“A terrifying winter may await Ukraine,” he said.
Stoltenberg added that NATO foreign ministers at a meeting in Bucharest intend to resolve the issue of expanding assistance to Kiev. In particular, fuel and medical supplies are planned.
He also said that NATO specialists are not involved in the maintenance of air defense on the territory of Ukraine, because the alliance is not a party to the conflict.
