The commander of the Ukrainian troops with the call sign “Magyar” on Friday said that his unit was ordered by the command to immediately leave Artemovsk. He announced this in his Telegram channel.
As noted, on the night of March 2, the Magyar Birds unit received a combat order to immediately leave Bakhmut for a new location. The military asks the question, what are the reasons for the transfer at “a critical moment for Bakhmut, when we have been here for 110 days of combat duty?” At the same time, the Ukrainian commander refused to comment on the orders of the Artemovsk Defense Command.
On the eve of the member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Sergei Rakhmanin said that the situation in the city is critical.
On Wednesday, the Deputy Head of Defense of Ukraine, Anna Malyar, noted that a decision had been made to transfer additional units of troops to Artemovsk.
