The leadership of the nationalist Azov regiment was transferred from the DPR to Russia. This is reported to the TASS news agency by a source from law enforcement agencies.
The investigation in the Russian Federation will be conducted over the deputy commander of the Azov Svyatoslav Palamar (call sign “Kalina”) and the commander of the 36th brigade of the Marine Infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Volynsky (call sign “Volyn”), who surrendered in Mariupol.
Recall that on June 17, the Azov fighters began to surrender to the Russian military. DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova said that they will be tried by an international tribunal.
