The Federation Council has approved a law that prohibits Russians from participating in the activities of undesirable foreign and international organizations. For violation of the Russians will be fined.

In case of primary violation of the law, a fine in the amount of 300 to 500 thousand rubles is provided. With repeated-up to 4 years of imprisonment. For financing undesirable organizations, you can go to jail for a period of 1 to 5 years in a penal colony, and for leading such organizations for a period of 2 to 6 years.

If the ban is violated outside of Russia, citizens will be held administratively liable.

Earlier, the bill was adopted by the State Duma in the third reading. The document was developed by members of the commission to investigate the facts of foreign interference in the internal affairs of Russia.
