The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said on the Rossiya 1 TV channel that representatives of European countries, who had previously advocated the termination of contacts with Moscow, requested meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov within the framework of the UN General Assembly.
“Do you want names? I have them,” Zakharova said, naming French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna and German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock.
According to Zakharova, a representative of another country from Northern Europe also requested negotiations.
Recall that Lavrov met with Catherine Colonna three days earlier. During the negotiations, the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP was discussed, as well as various issues on bilateral and international issues.
