Nikolay Samarov, the head of the Vozrozhdenie hunting farm in the Saratov region, said that Valery Rashkin, a Communist Party deputy detained with a moose carcass, often hunted in the Lysogorsky district. The communist has been coming here for about five years in a row.

According to Samarov, Rashkin’s friends, Vladimir Matrosov and Konstantin Karyakin, live in the village of Bald Mountains. Together with them, says Samarov in an interview with the Daily Storm, “the deputy carried out “constant drinking and skinned”animals”.

“This happened quite often with them. Consistently once a year Rashkin visited his friends. For five years he has definitely already come to these parts,” the head of the hunting farm said.

Samarov also said that a friend of the parliamentarian Alexander Gnoshev, who was also detained, also participated in the prohibited moose hunting. Karyakin has so far managed to escape from law enforcement.

Recall that at first Rashkin claimed that he just found the carcass of an elk. However, later law enforcement officers found Rashkin’s gun, a permit for it and a hunting ticket of the deputy. Now the carcass and the weapon are sent for examination.
