The Presidents of Turkey and Israel, Tayyip Erdogan and Yitzhak Herzog, agreed to maintain a dialogue between the two states, including the fight against terrorism. The negotiations were reported by the office of the Turkish leader.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog. The leaders discussed Turkish-Israeli relations, as well as regional issues.
Erdogan and the Duke agreed to maintain a dialogue between the two countries. Cooperation will continue “in the name of peace and stability.” It is separately noted that the dialogue between the countries includes the struggle for security.
It is also reported that the Israeli president thanked Erdogan, noting Turkey’s efforts to combat terrorism.
