Speaking to the media, John Kirby, the coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, explained the reasons that allegedly forced Washington to supply more powerful weapons to Kiev.
The official admitted that since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden has refused to supply powerful weapons to the Ukrainian authorities, fearing that such actions could provoke the outbreak of World War III. However, over time, the situation in Nezalezhnaya began to develop and change, which required Washington to reconsider this tactic.
“Our contribution is also changing and developing”, – Kirby reported.
