US intelligence is testing methods for assessing the combat capability of foreign military personnel. This is reported by CNN.
Representatives of the Senate Intelligence Committee sent a secret letter to the office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Pentagon and the CIA. The parliamentarians became interested in what methods are used, and from what intelligence experts proceed when making assessments.
The members of the committee drew attention to the fact that US intelligence made incorrect assessments of foreign military twice in a year. We are talking about the assessment of Ukrainian servicemen before the start of the Russian military special operation, as well as the government forces of Afghanistan.
