WSJ: America is concerned about the shortage for Taiwan due to Ukraine


The American newspaper Wall Street Journal, citing its own sources, reported that the White House is concerned about the threat of a shortage of weapons for supplies to Taiwan.

According to the publication, at the moment the US authorities are afraid that the conflict in Ukraine will complicate the plan to supply weapons to Taiwan.

“The situation in Ukraine will complicate the supply of arms to Taiwan with an approximate volume of $ 19 billion, delaying efforts to arm the island even longer,” the WSJ writes.

It is clarified that already now, due to the supply of weapons to Kiev, the Pentagon has limited its capabilities to help Taiwan.
