President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, during a speech in the center of Kiev dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country’s Independence Day, specifically did not mention Viktor Yanukovych among those who headed the state.

According to Zelensky, Rivne region gave the country the first president, meaning Leonid Kravchuk, and Chernihiv region-the second (Leonid Kuchma), and Sumy region-the third (Viktor Yushchenko).

“Donechchina gave it to us… Leonid Bykov and Sergei Bubka “,— & nbsp;Zelensky noted. Thus, the current Ukrainian leader could make fun of the fourth president Viktor Yanukovych, a native of the village of Zhukovka in the Yenakiyevsky district of Donetsk region.

Also, in his speech, he did not mention his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, who was present at the holiday, UNIAN reports.

In addition, Zelensky said that he plans to return the ashes of outstanding Ukrainians buried abroad to the country. According to him, these people “lived for Ukraine, fought for Ukraine, are not buried in Ukraine”.

Zelensky also noted that the country will also return “historical and cultural values” of Ukraine that are located abroad.
