Photo: ru.wikipedia.org

State Duma deputy Maria Butina appealed to the head of Roskomnadzor Andrey Lipov and Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to check the Orthodox movement “Forty Magpies”. The reason for the parliamentarian’s interest in the movement was the posts of his representatives in social networks about vaccination against coronavirus. Butina published copies of the applications submitted to the departments in her telegram channel.

The documents say that a certain citizen Tatarenkov turned to Butina and said that “Forty Forty” writes on the Internet “on the topic of false conclusions about vaccination,” which, in his opinion, can “entail serious consequences for the health of citizens.”

Butina asked after checking the information provided to take action if necessary.

Rashkin arrived for questioning at the Investigative Committee

Photo: Gennady Cherkasov

A deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Valery Rashkin, arrived at the Investigative Committee of Russia for questioning in the case of illegal hunting. This is reported by the website of the Zvezda TV channel. At the same time, the parliamentarian did not comment on this case.

Earlier it was reported that Rashkin will go for questioning in the UK as a suspect in the case of illegal hunting on Monday, December 6. The parliamentarian became a person involved in a criminal case after he was detained on the highway in the Saratov region. A moose carcass was found in the trunk of the car. Initially, he denied the fact of killing the animal. He claimed to have found him already shot.

Then Rashkin changed his testimony. He said that he had confused the elk with a wild boar, for which he had a permit to hunt. In November, the deputies of the State Duma, on the recommendation of the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, voted to remove Rashkin’s parliamentary immunity. Meanwhile, Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov stressed that Rashkin “did a bad thing” by publicly lying that he did not kill an elk on an illegal hunt.

Canada refused to deploy soldiers in Ukraine to “not annoy the Russian Federation”

Photo: pixabay.com

Canada responded to the call of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov to deploy military instructors in the Donbass. The Chief of the Defense Staff of the country, Wayne Airy, said that the country would not increase the military contingent in Ukraine in order “not to annoy Russia.”

According to The Globe & Mail, Airey noted that diplomacy should act in such cases. Care must be taken. According to him, Operation UNIFIER shows a long-term commitment to Ukraine. Since 2015, about 200 Canadian military instructors have been permanently stationed in Nezalezhnaya as part of this operation. The mission’s mandate has been extended until 2022.

However, Airey stressed that “one should be very careful about the balance between abstinence and escalation, as well as perception from the other side.” He recalled that “throughout history, wars have started because of potential miscalculations.”

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov said that the UK, Canada and the United States should deploy their military in those areas of his country that may be “positions on the front line in the event of a large-scale attack by Russia.” He is sure that Canadian instructors should be placed in Kharkov, Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Odessa, as well as on the island of Snake. Together with them, it would be worth placing guys from the United Kingdom, as well as the United States, within the framework of bilateral platforms and without NATO.

The mayor of Poltava said that Russia and the United States are fighting in the Donbass

Photo: pixabay.com

The Mayor of Poltava, Alexander Mamai, expressed the opinion that the conflict in Donbass is a confrontation between Russia and the United States. He made such a statement on the air of the Nash TV channel.

According to the official, “two superpowers are fighting in the east of Ukraine.” At the same time, Mamai noted that the younger generation of Ukrainians has a negative attitude to the idea of external governance of the country.

“Communicating a lot with the residents of our city, I am becoming more and more convinced myself personally, and I see the position of the population. It’s a shame that brother is going to brother,” he stressed.

The mayor also pointed out the harm of economic sanctions imposed by Kiev since 2014. As an example, he cited the Poltava electromechanical plant “Ltava”, where several thousand people previously worked. According to Mamai, now the company cannot “work for Russia”, so people remain unemployed.

The Ukrainian diaspora of Belarusians harshly attacked Svetlana Tikhanovskaya

They were waiting for her in Kiev

The Belarusian House in Ukraine (BDU) took offense at Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. The reason was that over the past year she has never visited Kiev and allegedly does not support Belarusians who fled from the regime to this country. The press secretary of the ex-presidential candidate Anna Krasulina explained to us that for such a visit, an invitation from the Ukrainian side is first necessary. According to political analyst Ruslan Bortnik, Kiev is not in a hurry with this step, fearing to break off trade relations with Minsk.

Photo: facebook.com/S.Tsikhanouskaya.

In the summer, the head of the BDU, Vitaly Shishov, died, the investigation has not yet been able to determine whether it was suicide or murder disguised as suicide. The text of the BDU’s message to Tikhanovskaya was recorded in the summer, when Shishov was alive, but they decided to publish it only now. “Svetlana Georgievna, don’t you think it’s time to show up? Now is the perfect moment toto promote the interests of the people not only in the EU and the USA, which do so much for Belarusians, but also in Ukraine,” the organization said in a statement. It emphasizes that the Belarusian migrants did not receive any assistance from the Tikhanovskaya headquarters, despite the fact that Ukraine is the main “transit point” for most of the “regime fugitives”.

Tikhanovskaya announced her intention to go to Kiev in October last year, but the official visit never happened. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba stated that before Tikhanovskaya’s trip, it would be necessary to determine her position on “Russian aggression against Crimea.” Later, in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon, she answered Kuleb’s question that Crimea is Ukraine, but there was either no invitation to visit the country, or it was not reported.

MK talked about this with press secretary of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya Anna Krasulina.

– According to the diplomatic protocol, the receiving party first informs about the visit, – explains Krasulina. – In this case, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and after that, the guest party can already declare it. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya will visit Ukraine when it coincides with her schedule and when official high-level meetings are agreed to be able to resolve issues of bilateral relations and assistance to Belarus.

– Indeed, there were such plans, but so far they have not been brought to implementation. This is also influenced by force majeure circumstances – for example, other meetings may be scheduled that change schedules, and planning has to start over. In addition, anti-weed measures have a serious impact. It is clear that now personal contacts are minimized, and much happens on an online basis. Therefore, there is nothing to be offended about. Work on planning visits is ongoing, as soon as the trip to Ukraine is agreed, this will be immediately reported.

– There is. Moreover, this connection is permanent. There are chat rooms for communicating with diasporas, including representatives of the diaspora in Ukraine. Weekly calls are held. To be honest, I haven’t seen anyone complain. But if this is the case, then let them apply directly, we will discuss it. Perhaps the person just didn’t find a way to contact us.

As explained by “MK” Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik the Belarusian diaspora in Ukraine is quite fragmented. “There are several groups that compete with each other. The Diaspora does not represent any integral association and does not play a serious role in Ukrainian politics either. There are probably hundreds of thousands of Belarusians living on the territory of Ukraine, but the new wave of migration was not very significant, I think we are talking about a thousand people.”

According to him, Kiev may not send an invitation to Svetlana Tikhanovskaya because of the risk of aggravating relations with Minsk and terminating trade relations. “Although Ukraine has very bad relations with Belarus, it continues to be one of its key trading partners. In addition, Ukraine receives electricity from Belarus. Tikhanovskaya’s invitation could further aggravate Ukrainian-Belarusian relations, and Ukraine is in no hurry to take this step. Although, perhaps, no one has yet figured out that it can be done,” the expert concluded.
