Germany has pledged to service the Leopards supplied to Ukraine

The German government on Wednesday, January 25, confirmed its intention to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Berlin is going to supply Kiev with 14 such machines.

At the same time, the German Cabinet of Ministers reported that it was not only about the transfer of the vehicles themselves, but also solving logistical problems, servicing tanks, supplying them with ammunition and spare parts.

Berlin also noted that in the near future, Ukrainian crews for Leopards will begin to be trained in Germany.

At the same time, it became known that Germany allowed its allies to re-export their existing “Leopards” to Ukraine.

The day before it was reported that the United States decided to supply Ukraine with American M1 Abrams tanks.
