Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that the European Union and NATO are preparing a full-fledged coalition for an alleged war with Russia. He said this during a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Aziz oglu Bayramov.
In this regard, Lavrov recalled that the Third Reich under the leadership of Adolf Hitler did almost the same thing in the XX century. The Russian minister stressed that before the Second World War, Hitler gathered a significant part of European countries under his banners to fight against the USSR.
“Now the European Union and NATO are also assembling a modern coalition to fight, by and large, a war with the Russian Federation,” Lavrov said. According to him, Moscow will now monitor what is happening very carefully.
Earlier, Sergey Lavrov said that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, by his actions that do not take into account the corridors announced by the Russian side, is delaying the food crisis. In his opinion, the UN plans to organize the export of Ukrainian grain first of all. However, the official representative of the Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, said that Guterres stands for simultaneous access to the world markets of agricultural products from both Ukraine and Russia.
In addition, Lavrov explained how the Russian Federation will behave if Kiev wants to resume the negotiation process. He stressed that Moscow will take into account the situation “on the ground”, as well as the reluctance of some regions to return to Ukraine’s control again. At the same time, the Anglo-Saxons are preventing the Ukrainian side from resuming negotiations now, Lavrov is sure.
