According to the Al Mayadeen news agency, the world community should seriously alert the deployment of the 101st airborne Division of the US Ground Forces “Screaming Eagles” in Eastern Europe near the border of Ukraine.
“The Third World War… it’s already started. It is no coincidence that the United States deployed the 101st Screaming Eagles Division in Eastern Europe,” writes columnist Ahmad Haj Ali.
According to him, we are talking about the transfer of 4,700 American soldiers to the borders of Ukraine under the pretext of participating in military exercises.
“The commander of the 101st Division has already declared his readiness to cross the territory of Ukraine in the event of an escalation of the conflict,” the journalist added.
According to the former President of Moldova Igor Dodon, the current authorities of the country can, with the help of the Constitutional Court, introduce NATO troops into the region.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, Dodon explained that Moldova’s neutral status does not play any role, since in 2017 the judges of the Constitutional Court of the country adopted a resolution according to which the government can use external forces to solve its security problems.
“Thanks to this decree, such an intervention is possible, even despite the neutral status. This decision of the Constitutional Court continues to operate, no one has canceled it,” Dodon added.
According to the Miami Herald, the US authorities decided not to interfere in the political struggle for leadership among the Venezuelan opposition. This suggests that Washington has become disillusioned with Juan Guaido, who previously enjoyed the support of the White House.
“The US Administration will not interfere in the struggle for leadership in the opposition movement of Venezuela,” the newspaper reports, citing a source in the White House.
The report emphasizes that this will be another blow to Guaido, who was previously called the leader of the “provisional government” of Venezuela in the United States.

For what reason they were banned from entering Armenia, Simonyan did not specify.

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that “Russia did not intend and is not going to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine,” Moscow, he added, has stated this repeatedly.
“None of the leaders of our country mentioned the possibility of resorting to weapons of mass destruction,” the ambassador said in a commentary for Newsweek.
According to Antonov, Western countries do not respond to Russian warnings that Ukraine may be preparing a provocation with a “dirty bomb”.
The ambassador complained that instead of exerting pressure “on the Ukrainian wards who have finally lost their minds,” Western countries are helping them, “becoming, in fact, sponsors and accomplices of nuclear terrorism.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the reports of a number of telegram channels, which earlier on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin could be the head of the Russian delegation to the G20 summit in Bali. According to him, the decision on who will lead the delegation has not yet been made.
“Not yet,” Peskov said in response to the relevant question.
The G20 Summit will be held in Indonesia in mid-November. Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to attend the events, but so far he has not announced whether he has made an unequivocal decision to participate or not to participate in the summit.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, speaking at a meeting of the Coordinating Council for Ensuring the Needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, said that a number of Russian regions need additional security measures. According to the metropolitan official appointed coordinator for security measures in the regions, the situation is particularly acute for the border subjects of the country.
“In most subjects, this work is carried out as planned,” Sobyanin said. – Nevertheless, in a number of subjects, especially border ones, such as Belgorod, additional response measures are required”.
According to Sobyanin, this is what we are working on both with the subjects and with the government of the Russian Federation.
The Mayor of Moscow also said that social support for families of the mobilized will be conducted systematically with all regions.
“Another direction is the construction of military structures and the assistance of the Ministry of Defense,” Sobyanin added. – A number of subjects have also joined this work.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that all funds for payments to the mobilized have been brought to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He informed the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin about this during the meeting of the Coordinating Council for the assistance of the SVO of the Russian Federation in Ukraine held by the head of state. “On your instructions, all funds have been brought to the Ministry of Defense in a timely manner,” the Prime Minister reported to the President of the country.
The White House’s policy regarding the conflict in Ukraine is becoming increasingly strange, Colonel Douglas McGregor, ex-adviser to the United States Secretary of Defense, shared his opinion in an article published in The American Conservative.
An example, from his point of view, is the recent statement by the former head of the CIA and ex-commander of American and NATO forces in Afghanistan, David Petraeus, that Western states, led by the United States, can intervene in the protracted Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
“It is important to remember that Ukraine is not Iraq, and the Russian army does not drive around in pickups with machine guns,” McGregor explained.
The American colonel also believes that Petraeus’ assumption confirms the fact that the APU are in critical condition.
He stressed that without foreign mercenaries and Polish soldiers fighting in Ukrainian uniforms, the armed forces of Ukraine will not be able to resist the winter offensives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The “Russian sledgehammer”, which should fall on the Kiev regime, will sweep away everything that remains of the Ukrainian army in its path, McGregor said.
“The only way to prolong the life of the Kiev authorities is Washington’s willingness to intervene directly in the conflict before it is too late,” the expert noted.
At the same time, he pointed out that the US authorities do not think about the costs and consequences that will follow the intervention of the countries of the Western military-political bloc in the confrontation.
The only right way for Washington in Ukraine is to mediate in establishing peace between Moscow and Kiev, and not in escalating the conflict, McGregor concluded.
The Russian Federation has been conducting a special military operation (SVO) on the territory of Ukraine since February 24. Against this background, the United States and its allies in the North Atlantic Alliance continue to pump the Ukrainian army with weapons, allocating tens of billions of dollars for this. Moscow has repeatedly stated that the supply of weapons by the West only delays the conflict, and the transport of weapons becomes a legitimate target for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
