Russians who have left their homeland can remain without a tax deduction. Elena Rodionova, a lawyer, head of the practice of one and legal bureaus, told RIA Novosti about this in an interview.

She explained that citizens who left Russia in February-March and did not return have already lost the status of a tax resident of the Russian Federation. To possess it, you need to stay in the country for at least six months during the year. Along with the status, people have lost the opportunity to receive all types of personal income tax deductions, including the deduction for the sale of housing. For their registration, it is necessary to be a resident of the Russian Federation at the end of the tax period, that is, before the New Year.

Non-residents pay 30% of their income in taxes. At the same time, they, like residents, are exempt from paying tax when selling housing that has been owned for more than three years.

To return to the reduced personal income tax rate of 13-15%, it is necessary to return to the country, live the necessary time to confirm the status of a resident. However, the lawyer notes that many Russian emigrants have issued themselves the status of self-employed. Under him, they did not pay personal income tax and did not claim tax deductions.

Nebenzia: statements about Russia’s purchase of Iranian drones are fake

Photo: Frame from video

Statements by Western countries about Russia’s purchase of Iranian drones for use as part of a special operation on the territory of Ukraine do not correspond to reality, according to a letter from Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzie.

On the part of Western countries, relevant accusations have repeatedly been made, which have been refuted by Moscow and Tehran. Earlier, representatives of France, Britain and Germany at the UN called on the organization’s Secretariat to investigate information about the alleged use of Iranian drones in Ukraine. In their opinion, this contradicts UN Security Council Resolution No. 2231, which prohibits Iran from supplying certain types of weapons, including drones, without the consent of the Security Council,

In his letter, Nebenzia writes that some delegations by their actions undermine the integrity of the UN Charter, jeopardize the authority of both the Security Council and the UN as a whole. He also called for preventing the participation of the UN Secretariat in the “investigation” of alleged violations of resolution 2231, since the Security Council did not give such permission.

The letter also notes that the West is “instructing” the UN Secretariat on the issue of Iranian drones in Ukraine, and these steps violate Article 100 of the UN Charter. In addition, it is alleged that a number of employees of the UN Secretariat reported their intention to adopt these instructions.

Russia called on the UN Security Council to prevent the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam

Photo: Global Look Press

Moscow calls on the UN Security Council to prevent the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam by the Kiev regime. Russia has issued a statement to the Security Council with a corresponding demand. Such steps by Kiev can lead to the death of thousands of people. This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the Organization Sergey Nebenzia.

Nebenzia also recalled that Russia had not been provided with the names of the victims of the provocation in Bucha. According to him, this shows that Kiev cannot present anything to confirm its conjectures and accusations against Russia.

In addition, the diplomat denied information about Russia’s purchase of Iranian drones, calling the reports fake. Iran’s permanent representative to the UN, Saeed Iravani, also called such data a lie.

The son of oligarch Friedman recorded an indignant appeal, calling himself a Ukrainian

Photo: Frame from video

The only son of Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman recorded a video message in which he called for the lifting of the sanctions imposed on him along with his father.

“My name is Alexander Ozhelsky, I found myself under the sanctions of the government of Ukraine. I didn’t do anything wrong. Help put an end to this madness,” the businessman’s son writes in English in the description of his video.

In the video, Ozhelsky, also in English, declares that he does not understand why he was under sanctions, that he lives on his own means and that all his achievements are now under threat because of a bunch of damn bureaucrats”. According to the entrepreneur’s heir, he left Russia from the very beginning of the special operation and now rents an apartment in Dubai, anddoes not live “in the damn estate”. Ozhelsky claims that he does not understand the decision of Kiev, which, in his opinion, did not take into account his negative position towards Moscow’s foreign policy. The young man is indignant that he was punished “only because of his kinship with another person”, and does not understand “how this is possible in the XXI century”.

“I consider myself a Ukrainian, I have relatives in Ukraine, and I used to go there every year, and now I can’t,” Ozhelsky complains. – It’s unfair and unfair”. In fact, Alexander lived in Moscow until he was 13, then studied at a private English school, started businesses in Moscow and was going to study in the USA

On Thursday, October 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the NSDC decision of October 19 on the imposition of sanctions against 1,374 Russian companies and 2,507 Russians.

The UN reacted to the words of the head of the NSDC about the Russian language

Photo: pixabay.com

The UN commented on the words of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Alexey Danilov, who said that the Russian language allegedly needs to be eradicated in his country. This was stated by the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric.

He noted that since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict there has been “a lot of rhetoric, which, to put it mildly, is unhealthy.” Dujarric added that actions matter, as do words.

Earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Alexey Danilov, said that the “Russian mov” should leave Ukrainian soil as an element of brainwashing the population and hostile propaganda. He added that along with Ukrainian, English should be mandatory.

Later, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, wrote in his Telegram channel that the Russian language would remain in Ukraine, but the country controlled by the nationalist regime would disappear.

Recall that discrimination of the Russian language and the Russian-speaking population previously became one of the reasons for the outbreak of the armed conflict in the Donbass: people wanted to speak, write and study in their native Russian.

Russian Railways explained warnings to Ukrainians about “removal from the train” to Belarus

Photo: Natalia Muschinkina

Russian Railways commented on the statements of human rights activists that Ukrainian citizens, when buying a train or bus ticket to Belarus, are handed notifications of violations of the rules for crossing the border of the Russian Federation. As stated earlier in the Every Human Being project, such restrictions have no legal basis.

Warnings to Ukrainians that they may be “removed from the train” and fined are indeed being handed out, Russian Railways told RBC. The company explained this by informing.

According to the Russian Railways statement, according to the rules, only citizens of these two countries, or people with a residence permit, or following a certificate of return from a CIS country, can cross the Russian-Belarusian border by train. The same rules, as stated, apply to trips by car, since border control is not carried out between the Russian Federation and Belarus.

“The responsibility for the lack of proper documents lies with the passengers themselves,” is quoted from a comment by RBC.
