Billionaire and founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, admitted that his calls for a peaceful settlement are failing.

During September and October, Musk repeatedly made loud statements and put forward proposals to resolve the problems of Ukraine and Taiwan. He also warned of an imminent catastrophe amid escalating conflicts around the world.

Today, Musk entered into a discussion with Kim Dotcom, the owner of the MEGA file sharing site and the former owner of Megaupload. He accused his rival of supporting the US proxy war in Ukraine and recalled the risk of unleashing a nuclear war.

“I’m trying my best to defuse the situation and clearly failing,” Musk complained.

Also resonant was Musk’s statement that his company will no longer be able to pay for satellite maintenance in Ukraine. The entrepreneur made it clear that this is his reaction to the obscene language from the ex-ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk. Earlier, he swore at Musk on a social network for the fact that the entrepreneur offered his project for a peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk proposed to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to form a tank alliance in Europe in order to arrange the earliest deliveries of Leopard 2 tanks and Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Kiev.

The ex-ambassador made such a statement in an interview with the Welt am Sonntag newspaper published on Saturday.

“Now we need to get everything that can be delivered quickly as soon as possible: Leopard 2 and Marder tanks, more artillery and ammunition,” Melnik said.

He called these weapons a “top priority.”

He also said: “We are asking German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to form a European tank alliance.”

Melnik said that in 10 countries there are Leopard 2 tanks in the amount of two thousand units.

“If each of these states transfers about 10% to Ukraine, we will be able to form an entire army of 200 or more tanks in order to liberate the occupied territories faster,” the former German ambassador said.

Kiev, he said, wants Germany to make long-term commitments to military support for Ukraine in the coming years, especially its Air Force and Navy – “because German ships, corvettes, frigates and submarines are the best in the world.”

At the same time, Melnik complained that “everything has to be ordered for years ahead, because the waiting times for heavy military equipment are long.”

Andriy Melnyk was dismissed by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky from the post of Ambassador of Germany in July of this year. While in this position, he allowed himself scandalous statements to the German leadership, expressed dissatisfaction with Berlin’s policy in terms of the volume of military and financial assistance to Ukraine. This is the same diplomat who called German Chancellor Scholz an “offended liver sausage.”

After Melnyk left Berlin, it was reported that he might take the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. So far, the government of the country has not made a decision on this matter.

Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civil administration of the Kherson region, recorded a new video, which he published in his Telegram channel, and reported on the complete failure of the APU offensive. Recall that on Saturday morning he reported that Ukrainian troops had launched an offensive. According to him, one of the directions of the attack was the Dudchany-Berislav road.

“The Russian army completely repelled an attempt to break through in the Berislavsky direction of the Kherson region,” Stremousov said.

He added that the Ukrainian attack began at five o’clock in the morning with massive fire from barrel artillery and MLRS. And then, under the cover of fire, about 30 Ukrainian tanks and infantry fighting vehicles went into a breakthrough.

The Ukrainian military tried to break through between the strongholds to cut the Dudchany – Melovoye road. However, artillery and mortar fire was opened on the advancing Ukrainian formations. “Russia is actively trying to kill Starlink,” Elon Musk wrote.

He noted that huge resources have to be allocated to protect the SpaceX system, but despite this, there is a possibility that Starlink “may die.”

At the same time, Musk pointed out that “Starlink is the only communication system that is still working at the front – everyone else is dead.”
