A spotter of artillery fire of the armed forces of Ukraine was detained in a part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by Russian troops. This was reported in the military-civil administration of the region.

According to the regional authorities, the detainee was engaged in correcting the artillery strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Kamenka-Dneprovskaya. As a result of the actions of enemy fire spotters, enemy artillery causes great damage to civilian infrastructure, kills civilians.

Earlier, fire spotters were detained in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They also carried out the correction of Ukrainian artillery strikes on DPR facilities, receiving instructions from the Ukrainian special services.

President Vladimir Putin awarded the crew of the special flight detachment “Russia”, which made an emergency landing in Chita after a bird got into the engine.

Recall that part of the government delegation and journalists who accompanied Mikhail Mishustin during his visit to the Far East flew to Moscow on this plane. 

The President awarded the Order of Courage to the aircraft commander and co-pilot. And the onboard engineer-inspector received the Nesterov medal.

The incident with the government board occurred on August 16. During takeoff at an altitude of 300 meters, a bird got into one of the engines, which caused a fire and engine failure. Despite the emergency situation and difficult conditions (the airport in Chita is surrounded by hills), the pilots were able to return to the departure airport and land the board on the runway.
