Russian journalists, who were detained by Estonian police, had their Schengen visas cancelled and were banned from entering EU countries for three years. This is reported by Izvestia. According to the publication, the decision was made by the Estonian authorities due to the fact that “the conditions and purpose of the intended stay were not recognized.”

Recall that on the eve of the correspondent Ksenia Soldatova and cameraman Dmitry Timofeev were removed from the train that was traveling from Narva to Tallinn. The police showed the journalists a photo in which they are shooting a monument to the T-34 tank. After that, they were taken to the police station and held for several hours.

According to the publication, no specific charges were brought against the film crew. Later, the journalists were taken to Narva and sent back to the territory of the Russian Federation. On the instructions of the editorial board, Soldatova and Timofeev had to prepare two materials: about the cancellation of European visas to Russians and about the fate of the monument to the T-34 tank in Estonia.

The senator recalled that all military facilities on the territory of Ukraine are now a target for destruction during a special military operation. Therefore, even if the plant is completed, no one will allow it to produce Bayraktars. Tsekov stressed that the plant on the territory of Ukraine will be Ukrainian, not Turkish.

Earlier, the CEO of the Turkish manufacturing company announced the start of construction of a plant for the production of drones. In addition, a research center and advanced production will appear next to the workshops. This will make it possible to fully assemble UAVs on the territory of Ukraine.

For the construction of the plant, the company had to buy land on the territory of Ukraine. The representative of Kiev in Turkey Vasily Bodnar said that the production will be launched by the end of this year.

The FBI is investigating former US President Donald Trump for violating the Espionage Act.

American mercenaries who have returned from Ukraine have unique mental problems. This was reported by a researcher from the analytical center of the US Department of Defense in the District of Columbia, Jeanne Mantua. She specializes in studying the conditions for improving the effectiveness of the special forces of the American army.

In her opinion, the consequences of ITS can affect the US military community in a completely unexpected way. The doctor noted that mercenaries may have a psychological crisis, for which no one is ready.

She called the brutality of the war the main root cause. The war in Ukraine is not like the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. Mercenaries have much fewer advantages and are involved in more fierce battles.

One of the servicemen who returned from Ukraine said that he had never seen anything like this before. The Taliban (an organization banned in the Russian Federation) were amateurs. Naturally, the mercenary had known “hot days” in Afghanistan, but they could not compare with what the enemy in uniform was capable of.

“Here we are constantly bombed by planes and drones. Tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, everything you can imagine, they moved here… And they have cool equipment, air cover and fire support. Strangely enough, I was imbued with a new sense of respect for our old enemies,” the mercenary said.

Jeanne Mantua recalled that the suicide rate among veterans is four times higher than among men of peaceful professions.

The increase in the number of suicides is explained by injuries, stress and burnout. The intensity of the fighting in Ukraine can provoke more serious psychological trauma. They can be aggravated by the fact that the Americans fail to “dehumanize” the enemy.

In the Middle East or North Africa, mercenaries could easily distance themselves from the enemy. But now Americans have to fight with Europeans who do not fit into the paradigm of “friend-foe”.

A senior US government official told reporters on Friday that Washington does not recognize the annexation of the “territories of Ukraine” to Russia.

In addition, he stressed that the United States will not allow the upcoming referendums in Donbass “to pass indisputably.”

“We will respond quickly and harshly,” the official said, adding that according to US intelligence, referendums on joining Russia are being prepared to be held in Kherson, Zaporozhye, as well as in the DPR and LPR.

According to him, the United States will not consider any such referendums “fair and honest.”

He also said that these referendums would complicate the diplomatic settlement between Russia and Ukraine.
