Russia needs to be “decolonized” in order to eliminate the “threat to the security of the world,” American publicist Casey Michel believes.
The reason for such a statement was the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that Russia, unlike Western countries, has never had colonies abroad.
Michel himself said that Russia colonized the surrounding territories, while European countries expanded their colonies overseas.
The publicist believes that the Russian Empire has conquered a large number of different nationalities “from the Caucasus to the Crimea, from the Arctic to the Amur, from the Volga to the Pacific Ocean,” and urged Russian citizens to study their country’s colonial past.
Michel is confident that the threat to global stability and security from Russia will persist until its “decolonization”. The publicist is sure that confidence in the need for the “decolonization” of Russia is beginning to form in the West.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that currently many countries in their anti-Russian impulse are crossing the boundaries of reason.
