Satanovsky called Putin the only reason for the existence of Germany

Photo: Global Look Press

The instincts of most of the Russian population are now restrained only by the country’s president Vladimir Putin. People are outraged by the fact that Germany was once given the opportunity to live in peace. But now it, like many European countries, supplies Ukraine with weapons that kill Russian soldiers.

According to political scientist Yevgeny Satanovsky, Ukraine is a family matter that the West should not get involved in. He called Putin the greatest hope for the existence of Europe and America. Putin is the most pro–Western of “those we have.” Those who come after him will have no restrictions, obligations and sympathy for Germany.

“The absolute majority of those who will replace him will have nothing but the cruelest feeling of being insulted, hostility brought to the extreme, and understanding that there will be an enemy on the other side of the border. Moreover, an enemy who has not been finished off and who must be finished off,” the expert stressed.

Earlier, Satanovsky stated that NATO’s desire to organize escorts for ships with wheat is explained by the alliance’s desire to get closer to the theater of military operations in the Black Sea.

The fate of the Sistine Chapel of Socialism is being decided in Bulgaria

Bulgarian architect Dora Ivanova told The New York Times that she learned about the existence of a huge Soviet monument similar to a UFO while studying in Germany. When she saw his photos for the first time, she realized that it was love at first sight.

She realized that the concrete structure must be saved. Ivanova gave up her career and has been fighting for 10 years to save from the destruction of a masterpiece of brutal architecture, which struck her imagination with its scale.

The Buzludzha project is located in the mountains of Bulgaria and looks like a landed flying saucer. Nearby is a 230-foot tower, which previously boasted the world’s largest and tallest red star.

The restorer of the Bulgarian National Academy of Arts Nikifor Kharlampiev, who works with Ivanova, called this building “the Sistine Chapel of Socialism.”

Ivanova had to fight for a long time for the allocation of money to carry out repairs. However, she does not plan to return the original appearance of the monument. The 91-year-old creator of the Buzludzha memorial, Georgy Stoilov, insisted on this. He considers the building a memory of good times.

Dora Ivanova noted that the return of the original appearance of the monument would be too expensive for a country that is considered the poorest member of the European Union. It will take millions of dollars.

The Getty Foundation in Los Angeles, calling the building a “masterpiece of architectural engineering,” in 2019 allocated 185 thousand dollars for its conservation. Later, the project received another 600 thousand dollars from him to preserve the collapsing mosaics.

Dora Ivanova stated that she intends to preserve, not restore, the monument in order to use it for concerts and as a tourist attraction. Moreover, most of the mosaic was lost many years ago. Apparently stolen.

The complex, which took more than seven years to build and 6,000 workers, worked for only eight years until 1992.

In the UK, three targets of a possible Russian nuclear strike were named

Photo: Pixabay.com .

British edition The Daily Express published an article naming three likely targets of Russia when deciding to use nuclear weapons.

The author of the material points out that the first target of any Russian nuclear strike is undoubtedly the United States, since it is the largest nuclear power after the Russian Federation, which has about 5,600 units of such weapons.

The article emphasizes that such a strike on the United States could force NATO countries to abandon actions directed against Russia. At the same time, it notes that on the other hand, Moscow will take into account Washington’s nuclear power and this may force it to choose a different target for the strike.

The second target in the article is called Great Britain. It is this country that is now providing significant military assistance to Ukraine, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson personally visited Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. In addition, the UK is considered one of the key members of NATO. However, a blow to the UK also carries great risks for Moscow.

The third target is one of the 28 NATO member states. So the author of the material believes.

The article emphasizes that such a strike could force some allies to withdraw from the alliance, and others to refuse to join it.

The Russian military used the latest heavy flamethrower system TOS-2 “Tosochka” during a special operation in Ukraine, TASS reports, citing a source in the armed forces. The Agency noted that it does not have official confirmation of this information.

For the first time, the TOS-2 system was used during the strategic exercises “Caucasus-2020” at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation plans to deploy heavy jet flamethrower systems TOS-1A “Solntsepek” and TOS-2 “Tosochka” in the Southern Military District to cover the Caucasus, Crimea and the border of Russia with Ukraine. Then a number of experts regarded this as a response to the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for possible military actions against the Russian Federation.

Poroshenko was not released from Ukraine

Photo: Global Look Press

Ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko tried to leave Ukraine for Poland, but was not let through by border guards, Rada deputy Irina Gerashchenko said on Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).

“Without explaining the reasons,” Gerashchenko commented on the situation.

Poroshenko reportedly followed the NATO Parliamentary Assembly through the Rava-Russian checkpoint of Lviv Customs on a personal Range Rover vehicle.

Earlier it was reported that businessman Viktor Medvedchuk, detained in early April, testified against Poroshenko, reporting details of the coal purchase scheme in 2014-2015. The Security Service of Ukraine summoned for questioning ex-Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, former ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov.
