Polish soldier Emil Chechko, who fled to Belarus, said that the Polish military shot from 200 to 700 people in the period from June 9 to 18, 2021. He said this at a press conference.
“Within 10 days of my participation in the shootings, from 200 to 700 people could have been killed,” he said.
According to Chechko, the first execution with his participation took place on June 9, 2021. He and his colleague were ordered to kill two groups of people.
“After we shot the first group of migrants, the second group of migrants got out of the truck,” he said.
The corpses, according to him, were dumped into specially prepared pits, one pit could hold up to 72 bodies.
Let us remind you that Chechko was detained by Belarusian border guards on December 16 in the border strip. He asked for asylum in Belarus. He recently announced that he had applied to The Hague Tribunal with a request to open a criminal case under the article on genocide and crimes against humanity against migrants from Lithuania and Poland.
