The battle for Artemovsk, or Bakhmut, which has been going on for the last few weeks, may become decisive for the entire line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This point of view was expressed by Oleg Soskin, adviser to ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, on his YouTube channel. According to him, if Bakhmut falls, the Russian Armed Forces will begin to rapidly advance deep into Ukraine, to Seversk, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.
The political scientist also complained that the promised offensive by the Ukrainian command in the area of Svatovo and Kremennaya never happened. As a result, the Russian troops themselves attacked the APU. At the same time, Western intelligence, which advises the Kiev regime to surrender Bakhmut, according to Soskin, “does not understand the consequences” of this decision.
