Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted that he had a conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. They discussed countering “threats from Russia,” the report said.
Kuleba said that Blinken confirmed the readiness of the United States to provide economic assistance to Ukraine. According to the minister, Kiev and its partners are ready to respond decisively to “Russian aggression.”
Earlier, US presidential aide Jake Sullivan said that Russia could launch an invasion of Ukraine before the end of the Olympics, that is, until February 20. Later, the German publication Der Spiegel called the start date of the “operation” — February 16. The Russian Foreign Ministry refutes such statements.
