Russian Ambassador to Sweden Viktor Tatarintsev described his attitude to the new sanctions that are being developed in the United States and the EU in a rude expression. At the same time, he apologized for having to use such words.
“Sorry for the language,” but we shat on Western sanctions,” the diplomat said in an interview with Aftonbladet.
Thus Tatarintsev commented on the topic of relations between Sweden and NATO. He also explained that Moscow opposes Sweden’s membership in NATO because of the escalation of the situation and provocations by the United States.
At the same time, Swedish Secretary of State Karin Wallensten also noted earlier that Stockholm wants to be a good and strong partner of NATO, but there is no question of joining the alliance.
