Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will take place next week. This was reported by NBC and PBS journalists, referring to unnamed representatives of the US administration.
According to Washington, Russia will launch a “terrifying bloody campaign” against Ukraine. The Russian invasion will begin with two days of aerial bombardment and electronic warfare, and then military units may invade with the likely goal of overthrowing the current Ukrainian government.
Russia has repeatedly denied the statements of Western countries about the alleged ongoing preparations for military operations against Ukraine. Moscow claims that such accusations are used to justify Ukraine’s military buildup, as well as the concentration of NATO forces in Eastern Europe.
