According to the National Interest magazine, the former head of the government of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the West should immediately and unanimously support the entry of the Independent into NATO, so as not to completely lose influence on Russia.
” In order not to lose Russia forever, the West must do everything possible… to integrate Ukraine and other Eastern European countries into NATO and the European Union, ” Yatsenyuk expressed an ambitious idea.
The politician stressed that only the united leadership of the West can restrain Russia.
