The Kremlin commented on the threats of the British Foreign Ministry to continue maneuvers near the Crimea

Dmitry Peskov told reporters that no contacts with the UK are currently being conducted, and cases of repeated violations of Russian borders by British warships will not remain unanswered.

“There are no consultations, relations between the countries are in a frozen state,” Peskov said, stressing that the statements of representatives of the British authorities cause concern to the Kremlin.

Earlier, British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab said that the ships of the British Navy after the incident with the destroyer Defender, which entered the territorial waters of Russia, will continue the appropriate maneuvers.

According to Peskov, the Russian side will take appropriate measures in case of violation of the state border every time this violation occurs.

“The border guards will perform all the actions that are prescribed to them according to the instructions, and all the diplomatic tools will be used,” the Kremlin spokesman stressed. “There is no need to violate the border of the Russian Federation and do it in such a provocative way,” Peskov advised the British Foreign Ministry.
