According to Sky News, Russia’s permanent representative to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov, appealed to NATO countries to abandon the idea of deploying nuclear weapons on the territory of Ukraine.
The Russian permanent representative recalled that Russia does not place similar installations anywhere except on its own territory.
“Will the North Atlantic Alliance deploy nuclear weapons in Ukraine? I hope not,” Chizhov said.
