Two weeks before the start of the special operation in Ukraine, British officers worked at the headquarters of the “Anti-Terrorist Operation” (ATO) in the city of Kramatorsk and, together with employees of the Canadian private military company GardaWorld, were engaged in intelligence received from NATO and the Armed Forces, RIA Novosti reports, citing sources in the power structures of the Russian Federation.
“So, from February 11 to 14, accompanied by the GardaWorld PMCs, British commanders held events to synchronize technical intelligence obtained by NATO intelligence with the headquarters of the ATO group in Kramatorsk, where options for conducting combat operations against the Russian armed forces were considered,” the agency quotes its interlocutor.
He explained that we are talking about officers of the active reserve — regular military personnel who worked undercover.
Since the beginning of February 2022, the military of the DPR and LPR have repeatedly reported the arrival of instructors and mercenaries from abroad, including from the UK, to the combat zone in the Donbas, and the British media reported on their presence there.
RIA Novosti also reports on the discovery by the agency’s correspondents in the liberated areas of Donbass of documents indicating the participation of the British military in the training of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and National Security Forces.
