The regions of Ukraine, previously liberated from nationalists, should withdraw from its composition, said the permanent representative of the Crimea to the President of Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Georgy Muradov.
According to him, their secession from Ukraine and the declaration of their independence would open the way for them to join Russia. He noted that Crimea had previously followed this path, but it was premature to hold referendums in the liberated regions, and it was necessary to wait for the completion of the special operation and denazification of Ukraine.
“In any case, everything depends on the will of the people. People should be able to go their own way,” Muradov said.
Currently, the Russian military has established control over the Kherson region and part of the Zaporozhye region. Civil-military administrations have been formed in the regions, the broadcasting of Russian TV channels and radio has begun, and trade ties with Crimea are being restored.
