A video of the destroyed special purpose units of the Ukrainian army has been published. It was shown by the TV channel of the Russian Defense Ministry “Zvezda”.
The Zvezda website reports that in the period from May 7 to May 9, the AFU units made several attempts to regain control over the territory of Zmeiny. All of them ended in failure. The bodies of the dead special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are visible on the frames.
Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Konashenkov, spoke about the unsuccessful attempt of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to seize the island of Snake. According to him, “the adventure ended in disaster for Ukraine.”
During this unsuccessful attack, more than five dozen Ukrainian militants were killed, as well as soldiers of the elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, four aircraft, ten helicopters, three boats, as well as 30 unmanned aerial vehicles were lost.
According to Konashenkov, the thoughtless PR campaign of the Kiev regime to seize the island on the eve of Victory Day led to the senseless death of more than five dozen Ukrainian militants and soldiers of elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
