The Ukrainian media distributed a video message of the deputy commander of the Azov regiment (recognized in the Russian Federation as extremist and banned) Svyatoslav Palamara (Kalina).
In the video, he claims that he still remains on the territory of the Mariupol Azovstal plant, although earlier the media reported that Kalina surrendered along with several hundred other soldiers. According to Kalina, the rest of the regiment’s leadership remains with him.
“The operation continues, the details of which I will not disclose,” he says in the video.
From the released footage, it is impossible to say exactly where and when the video was shot.
