The lists of Ukrainian servicemen who went missing, were captured or died in the southern direction were made available to RIA Novosti by employees of Russian law enforcement agencies. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the publication.
It is clarified that there are more than two thousand surnames in the list. Mostly it lists junior commanders and privates. As the interlocutor of the agency suggested, most likely the Ukrainian officers are on other lists on which there is a secrecy stamp.
“The Russian security forces got lists of Ukrainian fighters who were captured, went missing, died in the Southern direction of the front,” the source of the publication noted.
According to him, over the past month, there has been an acute shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian army, so territorial defense fighters and recruits who were drafted during the general mobilization are sent to the front.
Among other things, the interlocutor added that the army command is in no hurry to add recruits to the lists of dead, since the reaction to the death of young people can become very “painful for public opinion.”
