Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian volunteer battalion “Azov” (banned in Russia) Svyatoslav Palamar, known by the call sign “Kalina”, left the combine “Azovstal” and surrendered to the Russian troops.
“I handed over my weapons – a personal submachine gun and a pistol,” Irina Kuksenkova, a military correspondent of Channel One, wrote in her Telegram channel.
Earlier, she reported that the commander of the 36th separate brigade of the Marine Corps, Sergei Volyn, had left “Azovstal”.
“Whether he will be reunited with his Volyn in the same cell of the Yelenovka pre-trial detention center is not yet clear.””, – added Kuksenkova.
