The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a video showing the exit of the last Ukrainian servicemen who remained on the territory of the Azovstal plant for surrender to the Russian military.

The camera recorded the inspection of the Ukrainians who surrendered. They show tattoos on their bodies, hand over their weapons. Russian fighters check their personal belongings.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that “the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol, where a group of Ukrainian militants of the Nazi formation Azov (banned in Russia) has been blocked since April 21 this year, has been completely liberated.” According to him,all the underground facilities of the plant came under the full control of the Russian armed forces.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported this to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday evening.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, since May 16, 2,439 Ukrainian fighters have left the territory of Azovstal and surrendered, including 531 people on May 20.
