The Russian Embassy in the United States published a statement on its telegram channel, in which it called on American journalists to stop repeating “Russophobic fabrications” that the Russian side itself is striking at the Zaporozhye NPP, which is under its control.
“We call on the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency to condemn the criminal actions of Kiev and take urgent measures to prevent provocations at radiation-hazardous facilities in Ukraine. And American journalists should stop shouting Russophobic fabrications,” says the publication posted by the embassy.
As representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission emphasize, in reality “the situation is exactly the opposite.” At the same time, the wave of publications in the American media is characterized as a disinformation company.
Ranekk reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on the Zaporozhye NPP on Sunday night, and at the same time the firing zone was 400 meters from the operating nuclear power unit of the NPP.
