Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov answered a question from journalists at a briefing about the prospects of a meeting between Vladimir Putin and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky at the G20 summit.
Earlier, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, in an interview with the BBC, said that Vladimir Zelensky prefers to stay in Ukraine and work at international summits through an online format, but if Vladimir Putin is present at the G20, then it will be necessary to think about the need for Zelensky’s presence at this event.
“There are no prerequisites for such a meeting yet,” Peskov said, assessing the possibility of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders at the G20 summit, which is scheduled for Bali on November 15-16.
