President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky should react differently to the report from the international human rights organization Amnesty International and admit mistakes on the part of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported in the publication Politico.
“A mature response to such criticism would be to take the findings seriously and work to improve army practices and protect civilians, rather than shoot a messenger,” the publication says.
It is noted there that the correct decision on the part of the Ukrainian leader would be to admit that the APU is capable of making a mistake.
Politico notes that the report of the international human rights organization is inconvenient for Kiev, as well as for the West. However, the information provided there does not make it inaccurate and incorrect.
