The civil-military administration of the city of Energodar of the Zaporozhye region reported that the artillery strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the object on Thursday, August 11, did not lead to fires at the power units.
At the same time, information about the consequences of the shelling is being clarified. However, it is already known that the power unit is not on fire. According to the regional TV channel “For! TV”, as a result of the shelling, a field caught fire in Energodar.
Earlier, a member of the main council of the regional administration, Vladimir Rogov, said that Ukrainian troops again fired at the Zaporozhye NPP. According to him, there are no victims.
Five “arrivals” were recorded in the area of the commandant’s office of the station, which is located next to the welding site, as well as the storage of radiation sources. Five more were in the area of the fire station, not far from the nuclear power plant. Due to the attack, the station workers failed to carry out a “shift change” in time.
