The Federation Council is confident that Russia will not allow the construction of a plant for the production of UAVs in Ukraine to be completed. Sergei Tsekov, a member of the International Affairs Committee, thinks so. He is sure that no one will allow Ukraine to produce military equipment now.
The senator recalled that all military facilities on the territory of Ukraine are now a target for destruction during a special military operation. Therefore, even if the plant is completed, no one will allow it to produce Bayraktars. Tsekov stressed that the plant on the territory of Ukraine will be Ukrainian, not Turkish.
Earlier, the CEO of the Turkish manufacturing company announced the start of construction of a plant for the production of drones. In addition, a research center and advanced production will appear next to the workshops. This will make it possible to fully assemble UAVs on the territory of Ukraine.
For the construction of the plant, the company had to buy land on the territory of Ukraine. The representative of Kiev in Turkey Vasily Bodnar said that the production will be launched by the end of this year.
